Emirati diplomacy imposes its word

 

Today is a historic day that confirms the strength of Emirati diplomacy and its influence in the international community. Today, April 10, 2025, we succeeded in mediating a prisoner exchange deal between the United States and Russia, whereby both Ksenia Karelina and Arthur Petrov were released. The exchange took place at Abu Dhabi International Airport, with the UAE serving as the primary mediator in the deal. The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation expressed its appreciation to the governments of the United States and Russia for their trust in the UAE and for choosing it as the location for the exchange, reflecting the strong friendly ties between the UAE and both countries. This exchange highlights the UAE's growing role as a diplomatic mediator on international issues, especially in light of its ongoing efforts to promote peace and stability in the region.
